Today i slackpacked the 18 miles from where i got off trail yesterday back to the hostel. I grabbed lunch at Pork Bellies bbq joint. Then i hit the trail with a heavy heavy pack. I have enough food to hopefully get me to Erwin which is a long stretch. I did 10 miles from Damascus to a shelter so 28 miles hiked today. It didn't rain at all last night or today. Moral was good especially since i got to slackpack and eat town food. A few miles after leaving Damascus i crossed the VA/TN state line. Thats pretty cool i only have 3 state's left.
